Ginger shots

Drink with glass straw so it doesn’t stain your teeth!

  • Ginger (thumb size)

  • 1 apple

  • 1 heaped tsp turmeric

  • 1 tbsp honey

  • Juice of 1 lemon

  • pinch of pepper

Blend ingredients with water. Store in these jars in the fridge

Homemade Healthy Granola

Use organic ingredients wherever possible. Adjust quantities to suit your taste

  • Rolled oats 400g

  • Dried cranberries (or other dried fruit)

  • Almonds 40g, pumpkin 20g and sunflower seeds 20g

  • Maple syrup or honey 2 tbsp

  • Coconut oil 3 tbsp

  • Ground cinnamon 1 tbsp

  • Use a wooden or plastic spoon for honey as metal affects the enzymes

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC and line a baking sheet with baking paper.

  2. Combine the ingredients: add rolled oats, almonds, pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds to the baking sheet and toss.

  3. Toss with oil: drizzle the mixture with coconut oil and maple syrup and season with cinnamon. Stir to combine to make sure everything is coated.

  4. Place the pan in the bake at 180ºC for 20-25 minutes, tossing after 10 minutes.

  5. Once the granola is golden brown, remove it from the oven and add dried cranberries (or any dried fruit that you fancy).

  6. Toss and let cool for 15 minutes.
